30 day mental cleanse.

I’ve been looking for a way to help manage my anxiety and depression, so of course I headed straight to Pinterest and found the 30-day Mental Cleanse Challenge. It is organized into four themed weeks, week one is all about self-care. Week two is health, while week three and four are about cleansing and positivity. I’m excited to post the weekly results and the overall challenge. So, this March is “Mental Cleanse” month. It also seems like a nice way to reset into spring, plus I put my own spin on it.
According the women who first started this challenge; it is a perfect way for someone who is looking to cleanse their mind, focus on calmness and self-care. Starting Thursday March 1st, 2018 that is exactly what I will be focusing on. If any of my readers or followers want to join, you can shoot me an email or slide in my dm’s on any of my social media platforms, I’d be more than happy to be an accountability partner. After each week I will post an update as well as daily posts on Instagram.

Week One: Self-Care

Day 1: Set two goals you would like to achieve during this challenge
Day 2: Treat your face to a special pampering facial
Day 3: Go for a walk
Day 4: Journal for 15 minutes
Day 5: Go to bed 30 minutes earlier than normal
Day 6: Make a gratitude list of everything you are grateful for in your life
Day 7: Take a long bubble bath
Week Two: Health
Day 8: Try a brand-new workout
Day 9: Keep all three meals phone-free (no social media scrolling)
Day 10: Do a yoga for beginners to give your muscles a break
Day 11: Make two meals meatless (if you need inspiration … hit up my pinterest or insta story)
Day 12: Meditate for five straight minutes, focusing on your breathing
Day 13: Take your workout outside
Day 14: Replace one of your meals with a green juice ( I suggest doing it for lunch)
Day 15: Go vegan (again hit up my pinterest)
Week Three: Digital Cleanse
Day 16: Clean out your inbox and sort through mail, delete any spam in your life
Day 17: No social media for noon, take that time to be productive
Day 18: Unfollow people on social media who don’t inspire you
Day 19: Organize your desktop (and life) accordingly into folders and delete irrelevant items
Day 20: Go through your phone, delete any contacts, apps and/or notes and messages that don’t bring positivity into your life.
Day 21: Have a phone free night, spend time with friends and family
Day 22: Unsubscribe to those pesky marketing emails, take the time to finally get rid of them
Week Four: Positivity
Day 23: No complaints….. all positivity all day
Day 24: Write down three great things that happened today
Day 25: Spend 15 minutes in complete silence, focusing on just YOU
Day 26: Compliment three strangers
Day 27: Write a letter to yourself, expressing why you are grateful for who you are
Day 28: Ask a friend to describe you in three words, then consider what that means to you and your friend
Day 29: Create a vision board
Day 30: Write out the outcomes of the goals you set in the beginning
