Happy National Cotton Candy Day! Dates way back to the 1400’s when this sugary treat was called spun sugar. Cotton candy has been a carnival favorite treat for both young and old; and today on December 7th we celebrate this sugary delight. But instead of giving you a cotton candy recipe to eat, I’m giving you a recipe for a sugar scrub, a little twist on a sugary day.
Blue Cotton Candy Sugar Scrub
1 Cup Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup Coconut oil
1 Packet Cotton Candy Frosting Mix-in
Glass Storage Container
Step 1: Mix 1 Cup Sugar, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and 1/2 cup coconut oil, play with ratios until you get the consistency you want. I prefer not to have excess oil.
Step 2: Add the packet of Cotton Candy frosting mix-in and combine. This adds color and scent.
Step 3: Store inside of a Mason jar
Stay sweet my friends.
